We are an oceanside ecologically minded campsite situated 25km west of Puerto Montt, Chile. Part of a 120 acre working farm where fresh milk, cheese, eggs and bread can be purchased daily, campers can opt to work three hours a day in lieu of the fee. Campground includes hot showers and an enclosed barn for rainy days. The cabaña and car sites are also available. We are a working operation offering a beautiful landscape and enabling volunteers to use their assets to help us better our community
How to get here
The Campground is a short 25 minute bus ride west of Puerto Montt. From the
Puerto Montt bus terminal you have several options. You may take the Boele bus
line going to San Agustin, which runs several times throughout the day. The
Calbuco bus is also available but you need to make sure it is going via the
"costa" and it will take you to the farm also. Most of the bus
drivers know Camping Anderson and will let you know when you are at the stop
but be on the look out for signs. Your third option is the Chinquihue line
which runs every 8 minutes. You will take it to the end of the line and then
have a 5 km walk to the property. Camping Anderson will be on your left and
there are several signs which make finding the entrance quite easy. There is an
empanada and bread store located just before the entrance if you need a snack
after your 5k. All of the buses stop running around 8pm so make sure you get on
your journey out here before then.
